earth_hour_cmyk_sm_tm.jpgEarth Hour 2007: 2.2 million people and 2,100 businesses
in Sydney, Australia participated in Earth Hour,
reducing the city’s energy consumption by 10.2% for
that hour. That is the equivalent effect of taking
48,000 cars off the road for a year! This year,
Earth Hour will be a global effort.

So, if you want to participate in what could be a
really big splash, switch off your lights and
non-essential appliances between 8 and 9 PM on March
29. Take the opportunity to have a candle-light
dinner, go for a moonlit walk or share your favorite
ghost story… we’ll be right there with you!To learn more and pledge your participation visit: Earth Hour

Be forewarned that the website may be slow, but that only means that more people are signing up to participate, which is good for the Earth! Earth Hour is sponsored by the World Wild Life Fund.

8 PM MST this Saturday our home will be dark (except for those beeswax candles)…will yours?
